B Booth Consulting Ltd established in 2020, to share my 40+ years experience with a wider audience, providing Estimating, Commercial and QS services to the building & construction industry. In June 2023 I Qualified as a Level 5 Retrofit Coordinator to better support clients in meeting the Net Zero challenge and went on to achieve level 3 Energy Efficiency in older buildings qualification.

In my career I have undertaken Estimating, Preconstruction, QS and Leadership roles.  Was Preconstruction Director for Fortem (Formerly Willmott Dixon Partnerships) before establishing B Booth Consulting.

For the last 27 years I've worked on R&M, Planned and Projects with a mix of social housing and publicly funded project work. Recent assignments included delivering Estimating and preconstruction support for contractors with estate wide Retrofit schemes (SHDF 2.1) and a series of tower block remedial cladding projects (HRB).  We have also undertaken interim management roles bridging the gap between leavers and new recruits.

In my spare time I enjoy going on walks, meeting family and friends, making a fuss of Milo and working on my classic car.  For 12 years until 2022 I was a scout leader and group scout leader. Now volunteer as RICS APC Councillor. 

Milo joined the team as a puppy in August 2021.  He  undertakes specialist roles such as company mascot, but also responsible for staff fitness, wellbeing, and morale.
